Frequently asked questions
When will I receive my access details to the learning system?
Upon activation of your preferred tuition payment play and settlement of your first instalment, SMC will process your enrolment. You may expect to receive your access details and all relevant instructions within 72 hour from your activation.
Can I contact my fellow students?
Yes. You will be part of an international group of students, who are supporting and collaborating with each other if desired. You may also opt to study by yourself if you prefer that.
Will I receive support during my studies?
Yes, of course! The SMC Administration will always be diligent to support you with any issues - be them of administrative, technical, or academic nature.
What is the duration of the program?
The accelerated Bachelor program is designed for professionals in an advanced stage of their career who have extensive professional and academic experience in the field (recognition of prior learning - RPL) on one hand. On the other hand, they have not had a chance to pursue a first degree and thus seek a fast qualification on Bachelor level, which credits their professional experience. Taking the RPL into account, the program is designed for a average duration of 15-24 months.
Are the courses/credits recognized?
All courses are for credit and provided by the world's leading universities and professors. They are recognised and the credits can be transferred between universities on a global scale.
Can I cancel my payments any time?
You can cancel your studies any time. You will not be billed for a subsequent period. For example, if you choose monthly payments and cancel your studies in June, your access will officially end on the last day of the month and you will not be billed in July and forth going.
What does Swiss Management Center offer that I cannot get at other universities?
First, you can enrol in as many academic programs you like for the same price. You pay the same tuition whether you enrol in just one program, or in five programs at the same time. Your tuition will always be just €99 per month or one of our discounted 6-months or 12-months memberships.
